Genesis Chapter 36

א וְאֵלֶּה תֹּלְדוֹת עֵשָׂו, הוּא אֱדוֹם. 1 Now these are the generations of Esau--the same is Edom.
1. Ez Ézsaúnak (azaz Edómnak) nemzetsége.
ב עֵשָׂו לָקַח אֶת-נָשָׁיו, מִבְּנוֹת כְּנָעַן: אֶת-עָדָה, בַּת-אֵילוֹן הַחִתִּי, וְאֶת-אָהֳלִיבָמָה בַּת-עֲנָה, בַּת-צִבְעוֹן הַחִוִּי. 2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite,
2. Ézsaú a Kananeusok leányai közűl vette vala feleségeit: Adát, a Khitteus Élonnak leányát; és Oholibámát, Anáhnak leányát, a ki Khivveus Czibhón leánya vala.
ג וְאֶת-בָּשְׂמַת בַּת-יִשְׁמָעֵאל, אֲחוֹת נְבָיוֹת. 3 and Basemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebaioth.
3. És Boszmáthot, az Ismáel leányát, Nebajóthnak húgát.
ד וַתֵּלֶד עָדָה לְעֵשָׂו, אֶת-אֱלִיפָז; וּבָשְׂמַת, יָלְדָה אֶת-רְעוּאֵל. 4 And Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz; and Basemath bore Reuel;
4. Szűlé pedig Adá Ézsaúnak Elifázt; és Boszmáth szűlé Rehuélt.
ה וְאָהֳלִיבָמָה, יָלְדָה, אֶת-יעיש (יְעוּשׁ) וְאֶת-יַעְלָם, וְאֶת-קֹרַח; אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי עֵשָׂו, אֲשֶׁר יֻלְּדוּ-לוֹ בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן. 5 and Oholibamah bore Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah. These are the sons of Esau, that were born unto him in the land of Canaan.
5. Oholibáma pedig szűlé Jehúst, Jahlámot és Kórét. Ezek az Ézsaú fiai, kik születtek néki Kanaán földén.
ו וַיִּקַּח עֵשָׂו אֶת-נָשָׁיו וְאֶת-בָּנָיו וְאֶת-בְּנֹתָיו, וְאֶת-כָּל-נַפְשׁוֹת בֵּיתוֹ, וְאֶת-מִקְנֵהוּ וְאֶת-כָּל-בְּהֶמְתּוֹ וְאֵת כָּל-קִנְיָנוֹ, אֲשֶׁר רָכַשׁ בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן; וַיֵּלֶךְ אֶל-אֶרֶץ, מִפְּנֵי יַעֲקֹב אָחִיו. 6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the souls of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his possessions, which he had gathered in the land of Canaan; and went into a land away from his brother Jacob.
6. És felvevé Ézsaú az ő feleségeit, az ő fiait, és az ő leányait, és minden házabeli lelket, minden juhait, barmait, és minden jószágát, melyet szerzett vala Kanaán földén, és elméne más országba, az ő atyjafiának Jákóbnak színe elől.
ז כִּי-הָיָה רְכוּשָׁם רָב, מִשֶּׁבֶת יַחְדָּו; וְלֹא יָכְלָה אֶרֶץ מְגוּרֵיהֶם, לָשֵׂאת אֹתָם--מִפְּנֵי, מִקְנֵיהֶם. 7 For their substance was too great for them to dwell together; and the land of their sojournings could not bear them because of their cattle.
7. Mert az ő jószáguk több vala, semhogy együtt lakhattak volna, és tartózkodásuk földe nem bírja vala meg őket az ő nyájaik miatt.
ח וַיֵּשֶׁב עֵשָׂו בְּהַר שֵׂעִיר, עֵשָׂו הוּא אֱדוֹם. 8 And Esau dwelt in the mountain-land of Seir--Esau is Edom.
8. Letelepedék tehát Ézsaú a Széir hegyén. Ézsaú pedig az Edóm.
ט וְאֵלֶּה תֹּלְדוֹת עֵשָׂו, אֲבִי אֱדוֹם, בְּהַר, שֵׂעִיר. 9 And these are the generations of Esau the father of a the Edomites in the mountain-land of Seir.
9. Ez Ézsaúnak az Edomiták atyjának nemzetsége a Széir hegyen.
י אֵלֶּה, שְׁמוֹת בְּנֵי-עֵשָׂו: אֱלִיפַז, בֶּן-עָדָה אֵשֶׁת עֵשָׂו, רְעוּאֵל, בֶּן-בָּשְׂמַת אֵשֶׁת עֵשָׂו. 10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Basemath the wife of Esau.
10. Ezek Ézsaú fiainak nevei: Elifáz, Adának Ézsaú feleségének fia. Rehuél, Boszmáthnak Ézsaú feleségének fia.
יא וַיִּהְיוּ, בְּנֵי אֱלִיפָז--תֵּימָן אוֹמָר, צְפוֹ וְגַעְתָּם וּקְנַז. 11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
11. Elifáznak fiai valának: Thémán, Omár, Czefó, Gahtám és Kenáz.
יב וְתִמְנַע הָיְתָה פִילֶגֶשׁ, לֶאֱלִיפַז בֶּן-עֵשָׂו, וַתֵּלֶד לֶאֱלִיפַז, אֶת-עֲמָלֵק; אֵלֶּה, בְּנֵי עָדָה אֵשֶׁת עֵשָׂו. 12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek. These are the sons of Adah Esau's wife.
12. Thimna pedig Elifáznak, az Ézsaú fiának ágyasa vala, ki Elifáznak szűlé Amáleket. Ezek Adának, Ézsaú feleségének fiai.
יג וְאֵלֶּה בְּנֵי רְעוּאֵל, נַחַת וָזֶרַח שַׁמָּה וּמִזָּה; אֵלֶּה הָיוּ, בְּנֵי בָשְׂמַת אֵשֶׁת עֵשָׂו. 13 And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. These were the sons of Basemath Esau's wife.
13. Ezek pedig a Rehuél fiai: Nakhath, Zerakh, Sammá, Mizzá. Ezek valának Boszmáthnak, Ézsaú feleségének fiai.
יד וְאֵלֶּה הָיוּ, בְּנֵי אָהֳלִיבָמָה בַת-עֲנָה בַּת-צִבְעוֹן--אֵשֶׁת עֵשָׂו; וַתֵּלֶד לְעֵשָׂו, אֶת-יעיש (יְעוּשׁ) וְאֶת-יַעְלָם וְאֶת-קֹרַח. 14 And these were the sons of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife; and she bore to Esau Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
14. Oholibámának pedig, Ézsaú feleségének, Anáh leányának, ki Czibhón leánya volt, ezek valának fiai, kiket szűle Ézsaúnak: Jéhus, Jahlám és Korakh.
טו אֵלֶּה, אַלּוּפֵי בְנֵי-עֵשָׂו: בְּנֵי אֱלִיפַז, בְּכוֹר עֵשָׂו--אַלּוּף תֵּימָן אַלּוּף אוֹמָר, אַלּוּף צְפוֹ אַלּוּף קְנַז. 15 These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the first-born of Esau: the chief of Teman, the chief of Omar, the chief of Zepho, the chief of Kenaz,
15. Ezek Ézsaú fiainak fejedelmei: Elifáznak, Ézsaú elsőszülöttének fiai: Thémán fejedelem, Omár fejedelem, Czefó fejedelem, Kenáz fejedelem.
טז אַלּוּף-קֹרַח אַלּוּף גַּעְתָּם, אַלּוּף עֲמָלֵק; אֵלֶּה אַלּוּפֵי אֱלִיפַז בְּאֶרֶץ אֱדוֹם, אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי עָדָה. 16 the chief of Korah, the chief of Gatam, the chief of Amalek. These are the chiefs that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Adah.
16. Korakh fejedelem, Gahtám fejedelem, Amálek fejedelem. Ezek Elifáztól való fejedelmek Edómnak országában; ezek Adá fiai.
יז וְאֵלֶּה, בְּנֵי רְעוּאֵל בֶּן-עֵשָׂו--אַלּוּף נַחַת אַלּוּף זֶרַח, אַלּוּף שַׁמָּה אַלּוּף מִזָּה; אֵלֶּה אַלּוּפֵי רְעוּאֵל, בְּאֶרֶץ אֱדוֹם--אֵלֶּה, בְּנֵי בָשְׂמַת אֵשֶׁת עֵשָׂו. 17 And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son: the chief of Nahath, the chief of Zerah, the chief of Shammah, the chief of Mizzah. These are the chiefs that came of Reuel in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Basemath Esau's wife.
17. Rehuélnek pedig, az Ézsaú fiának fiai ezek: Nakhath fejedelem, Zerakh fejedelem, Sammá fejedelem, Mizzá fejedelem. Ezek Rehuéltől való fejedelmek Edóm országában. Ezek Boszmáthnak, Ézsaú feleségének fiai.
יח וְאֵלֶּה, בְּנֵי אָהֳלִיבָמָה אֵשֶׁת עֵשָׂו--אַלּוּף יְעוּשׁ אַלּוּף יַעְלָם, אַלּוּף קֹרַח; אֵלֶּה אַלּוּפֵי אָהֳלִיבָמָה, בַּת-עֲנָה--אֵשֶׁת עֵשָׂו. 18 And these are the sons of Oholibamah Esau's wife: the chief of Jeush, the chief of Jalam, the chief of Korah. These are the chiefs that came of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.
18. Ezek pedig Oholibámának, Ézsaú feleségének fiai: Jéhus fejedelem, Jahlám fejedelem, Korakh fejedelem. Ezek Oholibámától, Anáh leányától, Ézsaú feleségétől való fejedelmek.
יט אֵלֶּה בְנֵי-עֵשָׂו וְאֵלֶּה אַלּוּפֵיהֶם, הוּא אֱדוֹם.
{ס} 		19 These are the sons of Esau, and these are their chiefs; the same is Edom. {S}
19. Ezek Ézsaú fiai, és ezek azoknak fejedelmei; ez Edóm.
כ אֵלֶּה בְנֵי-שֵׂעִיר הַחֹרִי, יֹשְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ: לוֹטָן וְשׁוֹבָל, וְצִבְעוֹן וַעֲנָה. 20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah,
20. A Horeus Széirnek fiai, kik ama földön laknak vala ezek: Lótán, Sóbál, Czibhón, Anáh.
כא וְדִשׁוֹן וְאֵצֶר, וְדִישָׁן; אֵלֶּה אַלּוּפֵי הַחֹרִי בְּנֵי שֵׂעִיר, בְּאֶרֶץ אֱדוֹם. 21 and Dishon and Ezer and Dishan. These are the chiefs that came of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
21. Disón, Eczer, Disán, Ezek a Horeusok fejedelmei, Széirnek fiai Edóm országában.
כב וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי-לוֹטָן, חֹרִי וְהֵימָם; וַאֲחוֹת לוֹטָן, תִּמְנָע. 22 And the children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan's sister was Timna.
22. Lótánnak pedig fiai voltak: Hóri, Hémám, és Lótánnak húga, Timna.
כג וְאֵלֶּה בְּנֵי שׁוֹבָל, עַלְוָן וּמָנַחַת וְעֵיבָל, שְׁפוֹ, וְאוֹנָם. 23 And these are the children of Shobal: Alvan and Manahath and Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
23. Sóbálnak fiai ezek: Halván, Mánakháth, Hébál, Sefó, Onám.
כד וְאֵלֶּה בְנֵי-צִבְעוֹן, וְאַיָּה וַעֲנָה; הוּא עֲנָה, אֲשֶׁר מָצָא אֶת-הַיֵּמִם בַּמִּדְבָּר, בִּרְעֹתוֹ אֶת-הַחֲמֹרִים, לְצִבְעוֹן אָבִיו. 24 And these are the children of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah--this is Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.
24. Czibhónnak pedig fiai ezek: Aja és Anáh, az az Anáh, ki meleg forrásokat talált a pusztában, mikor atyjának Czibhónnak szamarait legelteté.
כה וְאֵלֶּה בְנֵי-עֲנָה, דִּשֹׁן; וְאָהֳלִיבָמָה, בַּת-עֲנָה. 25 And these are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah.
25. Anáhnak fiai ezek: Disón és Oholibáma Anáhnak leánya.
כו וְאֵלֶּה, בְּנֵי דִישָׁן--חֶמְדָּן וְאֶשְׁבָּן, וְיִתְרָן וּכְרָן. 26 And these are the children of Dishon: Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Cheran.
26. Disónnak fiai ezek: Hemdán, Esbán, Ithrán, Kherán.
כז אֵלֶּה, בְּנֵי-אֵצֶר--בִּלְהָן וְזַעֲוָן, וַעֲקָן. 27 These are the children of Ezer: Bilhan and Zaavan and Akan.
27. Eczernek fiai ezek: Bilhán, Zahaván, Hakán.
כח אֵלֶּה בְנֵי-דִישָׁן, עוּץ וַאֲרָן. 28 These are the children of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
28. Disánnak fiai ezek: Húcz és Arán.
כט אֵלֶּה, אַלּוּפֵי הַחֹרִי: אַלּוּף לוֹטָן אַלּוּף שׁוֹבָל, אַלּוּף צִבְעוֹן אַלּוּף עֲנָה. 29 These are the chiefs that came of the Horites: the chief of Lotan, the chief of Shobal, the chief of Zibeon, the chief of Anah,
29. A Horeusok közűl való fejedelmek pedig ezek: Lótán fejedelem, Sóbál fejedelem, Czibhón fejedelem, Anáh fejedelem.
ל אַלּוּף דִּשֹׁן אַלּוּף אֵצֶר, אַלּוּף דִּישָׁן; אֵלֶּה אַלּוּפֵי הַחֹרִי לְאַלֻּפֵיהֶם, בְּאֶרֶץ שֵׂעִיר.
{פ} 		30 the chief of Dishon, the chief of Ezer, the chief of Dishan. These are the chiefs that came of the Horites, according to their chiefs in the land of Seir. {P}
30. Disón fejedelem, Eczer fejedelem, Disán fejedelem. Ezek a Horeusok közűl való fejedelmek az ő fejedelemségök szerint, Széir tartományában.
לא וְאֵלֶּה, הַמְּלָכִים, אֲשֶׁר מָלְכוּ, בְּאֶרֶץ אֱדוֹם--לִפְנֵי מְלָךְ-מֶלֶךְ, לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל. 31 And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.
31. Ezek pedig a királyok, kik uralkodtak Edóm földén minekelőtte Izráel fiai között király uralkodott volna.
לב וַיִּמְלֹךְ בֶּאֱדוֹם, בֶּלַע בֶּן-בְּעוֹר; וְשֵׁם עִירוֹ, דִּנְהָבָה. 32 And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
32. Király vala Edómban Bela, Behor fia, s az ő városának neve Dinhába vala.
לג וַיָּמָת, בָּלַע; וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו, יוֹבָב בֶּן-זֶרַח מִבָּצְרָה. 33 And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
33. És meghala Bela, uralkodék helyette Jóbáb, Zerakh fia, ki Boczrából való volt.
לד וַיָּמָת, יוֹבָב; וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו, חֻשָׁם מֵאֶרֶץ הַתֵּימָנִי. 34 And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
34. És meghala Jóbáb, és uralkodék helyette a Témán földéből való Khusám.
לה וַיָּמָת, חֻשָׁם; וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו הֲדַד בֶּן-בְּדַד, הַמַּכֶּה אֶת-מִדְיָן בִּשְׂדֵה מוֹאָב, וְשֵׁם עִירוֹ, עֲוִית. 35 And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.
35. És meghala Khusám és uralkodék helyette Hadád, a Bédád fia, a ki megveré a Midiánitákat a Moáb mezején; az ő városának neve pedig Hávit vala.
לו וַיָּמָת, הֲדָד; וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו, שַׂמְלָה מִמַּשְׂרֵקָה. 36 And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
36. És meghala Hadád és uralkodék helyette a Masrekából való Szamlá.
לז וַיָּמָת, שַׂמְלָה; וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו, שָׁאוּל מֵרְחֹבוֹת הַנָּהָר. 37 And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his stead.
37. És meghala Szamlá és uralkodék helyette Saul, a folyóvíz mellett való Rékhobóthból.
לח וַיָּמָת, שָׁאוּל; וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו, בַּעַל חָנָן בֶּן-עַכְבּוֹר. 38 And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
38. És meghala Saul és uralkodék helyette Báhál-Khanán, Akhbór fia.
לט וַיָּמָת, בַּעַל חָנָן בֶּן-עַכְבּוֹר, וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו הֲדַר, וְשֵׁם עִירוֹ פָּעוּ; וְשֵׁם אִשְׁתּוֹ מְהֵיטַבְאֵל בַּת-מַטְרֵד, בַּת מֵי זָהָב. 39 And Baal-hanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his stead; and the name of the city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
39. És meghala Báhál-Khanán, Akhbór fia, és uralkodék helyette Hadár; és az ő városának neve Pahu, az ő feleségének pedig neve Mehetábéel, a ki Mézaháb leányának Matrédnak leánya vala.
מ וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹת אַלּוּפֵי עֵשָׂו, לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם, לִמְקֹמֹתָם, בִּשְׁמֹתָם: אַלּוּף תִּמְנָע אַלּוּף עַלְוָה, אַלּוּף יְתֵת. 40 And these are the names of the chiefs that came of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names: the chief of Timna, the chief of Alvah, the chief of Jetheth;
40. Ezek pedig az Ézsaú nemzetségéből való fejedelmek nevei, az ő családjok, helyök, és nevök szerint: Timná fejedelem, Halvá fejedelem, Jetéth fejedelem.
מא אַלּוּף אָהֳלִיבָמָה אַלּוּף אֵלָה, אַלּוּף פִּינֹן. 41 the chief of Oholibamah, the chief of Elah, the chief of Pinon;
41. Oholibámá fejedelem, Éla fejedelem, Pinon fejedelem.
מב אַלּוּף קְנַז אַלּוּף תֵּימָן, אַלּוּף מִבְצָר. 42 the chief of Kenaz, the chief of Teman, the chief of Mibzar;
42. Kenáz fejedelem, Thémán fejedelem, Mibczár fejedelem.
מג אַלּוּף מַגְדִּיאֵל, אַלּוּף עִירָם; אֵלֶּה אַלּוּפֵי אֱדוֹם, לְמֹשְׁבֹתָם בְּאֶרֶץ אֲחֻזָּתָם--הוּא עֵשָׂו, אֲבִי אֱדוֹם.
{פ} 		43 the chief of Magdiel, the chief of Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession. This is Esau the father of the Edomites. {P}
43. Magdiél fejedelem, Hirám fejedelem. Ezek Edóm fejedelmei az ő lakások szerint, az ő örökségök földén. Ézsaú az Edómiták atyja.
