Genesis Chapter 10

א וְאֵלֶּה תּוֹלְדֹת בְּנֵי-נֹחַ, שֵׁם חָם וָיָפֶת; וַיִּוָּלְדוּ לָהֶם בָּנִים, אַחַר הַמַּבּוּל.	1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and unto them were sons born after the flood. 1. Ez pedig a Noé fiainak, Sémnek, Khámnak és Jáfetnek nemzetsége; és fiaik születének az özönvíz után.
ב בְּנֵי יֶפֶת--גֹּמֶר וּמָגוֹג, וּמָדַי וְיָוָן וְתֻבָל; וּמֶשֶׁךְ, וְתִירָס.	2 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. 2. Jáfetnek fiai: Gómer, Mágog, Madai, Jáván, Thubál, Mésekh és Thirász.
ג וּבְנֵי, גֹּמֶר--אַשְׁכְּנַז וְרִיפַת, וְתֹגַרְמָה.	3 And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. 3. A Gómer fiai pedig: Askhenáz, Rifáth, és Tógármah.
ד וּבְנֵי יָוָן, אֱלִישָׁה וְתַרְשִׁישׁ, כִּתִּים, וְדֹדָנִים.	4 And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. 4. Jávánnak pedig fiai: Elisah, Thársis, Kitthim és Dodánim.
ה מֵאֵלֶּה נִפְרְדוּ אִיֵּי הַגּוֹיִם, בְּאַרְצֹתָם, אִישׁ, לִלְשֹׁנוֹ--לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם, בְּגוֹיֵהֶם.	5 Of these were the isles of the nations divided in their lands, every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations. 5. Ezekből váltak ki a szigetlakó népek az ő országaikban, mindenik a maga nyelve, családja és nemzetsége szerint.
ו וּבְנֵי, חָם--כּוּשׁ וּמִצְרַיִם, וּפוּט וּכְנָעַן.	6 And the sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan. 6. Khámnak pedig fiai: Khús, Miczráim, Pút és Kanaán.
ז וּבְנֵי כוּשׁ--סְבָא וַחֲוִילָה, וְסַבְתָּה וְרַעְמָה וְסַבְתְּכָא; וּבְנֵי רַעְמָה, שְׁבָא וּדְדָן.	7 And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabteca; and the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan. 7. Khúsnak pedig fiai: Széba, Hávilah, Szábthah, Rahmáh, Szabthékah. Rahmáhnak pedig fiai: Séba és Dédán.
ח וְכוּשׁ, יָלַד אֶת-נִמְרֹד; הוּא הֵחֵל, לִהְיוֹת גִּבֹּר בָּאָרֶץ.	8 And Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth. 8. Khús nemzé Nimródot is; ez kezde hatalmassá lenni a földön.
ט הוּא-הָיָה גִבֹּר-צַיִד, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה; עַל-כֵּן, יֵאָמַר, כְּנִמְרֹד גִּבּוֹר צַיִד, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה.	9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; wherefore it is said: 'Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the LORD.' 9. Ez hatalmas vadász vala az Úr előtt, azért mondják: Hatalmas vadász az Úr előtt, mint Nimród.
י וַתְּהִי רֵאשִׁית מַמְלַכְתּוֹ בָּבֶל, וְאֶרֶךְ וְאַכַּד וְכַלְנֵה, בְּאֶרֶץ, שִׁנְעָר.	10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. 10. Az ő birodalmának kezdete volt Bábel, Erekh, Akkád és Kálnéh a Sineár földén.
יא מִן-הָאָרֶץ הַהִוא, יָצָא אַשּׁוּר; וַיִּבֶן, אֶת-נִינְוֵה, וְאֶת-רְחֹבֹת עִיר, וְאֶת-כָּלַח.	11 Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and Rehoboth-ir, and Calah, 11. E földről ment aztán Assiriába, és építé Ninivét, Rekhoboth városát, és Kaláht.
יב וְאֶת-רֶסֶן, בֵּין נִינְוֵה וּבֵין כָּלַח--הִוא, הָעִיר הַגְּדֹלָה.	12 and Resen between Nineveh and Calah--the same is the great city. 12. És Reszent Ninivé között és Kaláh között: ez az a nagy város.
יג וּמִצְרַיִם יָלַד אֶת-לוּדִים וְאֶת-עֲנָמִים, וְאֶת-לְהָבִים--וְאֶת-נַפְתֻּחִים.	13 And Mizraim begot Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim, 13. Miczráim pedig nemzé: Lúdimot, Anámimot, Lehábimot és Naftukhimot.
יד וְאֶת-פַּתְרֻסִים וְאֶת-כַּסְלֻחִים, אֲשֶׁר יָצְאוּ מִשָּׁם פְּלִשְׁתִּים--וְאֶת-כַּפְתֹּרִים. {ס}	14 and Pathrusim, and Casluhim--whence went forth the Philistines--and Caphtorim. {S} 14. Pathruszimot és Kaszlukhimot, a honnan a Filiszteusok származtak, és Kafthorimot.
טו וּכְנַעַן, יָלַד אֶת-צִידֹן בְּכֹרוֹ--וְאֶת-חֵת.	15 And Canaan begot Zidon his firstborn, and Heth; 15. Kanaán pedig nemzé Czídont, az ő elsőszülöttét, és Khétet.
טז וְאֶת-הַיְבוּסִי, וְאֶת-הָאֱמֹרִי, וְאֵת, הַגִּרְגָּשִׁי.	16 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite; 16. Jebuzeust, Emorreust, és Girgazeust.
יז וְאֶת-הַחִוִּי וְאֶת-הַעַרְקִי, וְאֶת-הַסִּינִי.	17 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite; 17. Khivveust, Harkeust, és Szineust.
יח וְאֶת-הָאַרְוָדִי וְאֶת-הַצְּמָרִי, וְאֶת-הַחֲמָתִי; וְאַחַר נָפֹצוּ, מִשְׁפְּחוֹת הַכְּנַעֲנִי.	18 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterward were the families of the Canaanite spread abroad. 18. Arvadeust, Czemareust, Hamatheust. És azután elszéledének a Kananeusok nemzetségei.
יט וַיְהִי גְּבוּל הַכְּנַעֲנִי, מִצִּידֹן--בֹּאֲכָה גְרָרָה, עַד-עַזָּה: בֹּאֲכָה סְדֹמָה וַעֲמֹרָה, וְאַדְמָה וּצְבֹיִם--עַד-לָשַׁע.	19 And the border of the Canaanite was from Zidon, as thou goest toward Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest toward Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboiim, unto Lasha. 19. Vala pedig a Kananeusok határa, Czídonból Gérár felé menve Gázáig; Sodoma, Gomora, Ádmáh, és Czeboim felé menve Lésáig.
כ אֵלֶּה בְנֵי-חָם, לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לִלְשֹׁנֹתָם, בְּאַרְצֹתָם, בְּגוֹיֵהֶם. {ס}	20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, in their nations. {S} 20. Ezek a Khám fiai családjok, nyelvök, földjök s nemzetségök szerint.
כא וּלְשֵׁם יֻלַּד, גַּם-הוּא: אֲבִי, כָּל-בְּנֵי-עֵבֶר--אֲחִי, יֶפֶת הַגָּדוֹל.	21 And unto Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, to him also were children born. 21. Sémnek is lettek gyermekei; a ki Héber minden fiainak atyja, Jáfetnek testvérbátyja vala.
כב בְּנֵי שֵׁם, עֵילָם וְאַשּׁוּר, וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁד, וְלוּד וַאֲרָם.	22 The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram. 22. Sém fiai: Élám, Assur, Arpaksád, Lúd és Arám.
כג וּבְנֵי, אֲרָם--עוּץ וְחוּל, וְגֶתֶר וָמַשׁ.	23 And the sons of Aram: Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash. 23. Arámnak fiai pedig: Úcz, Húl, Gether és Más.
כד וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁד, יָלַד אֶת-שָׁלַח; וְשֶׁלַח, יָלַד אֶת-עֵבֶר.	24 And Arpachshad begot Shelah; and Shelah begot Eber. 24. Arpaksád pedig nemzé Séláht, Séláh pedig Hébert.
כה וּלְעֵבֶר יֻלַּד, שְׁנֵי בָנִים: שֵׁם הָאֶחָד פֶּלֶג, כִּי בְיָמָיו נִפְלְגָה הָאָרֶץ, וְשֵׁם אָחִיו, יָקְטָן.	25 And unto Eber were born two sons; the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan. 25. Hébernek is lett két fia: Az egyiknek neve Péleg, mivelhogy az ő idejében osztatott el a föld; testvérének pedig neve Joktán.
כו וְיָקְטָן יָלַד, אֶת-אַלְמוֹדָד וְאֶת-שָׁלֶף, וְאֶת-חֲצַרְמָוֶת, וְאֶת-יָרַח.	26 And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah; 26. Joktán pedig nemzé Almodádot, Sélefet, Haczarmávethet és Jerákhot.
כז וְאֶת-הֲדוֹרָם וְאֶת-אוּזָל, וְאֶת-דִּקְלָה.	27 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah; 27. Hadórámot, Úzált és Dikláth.
כח וְאֶת-עוֹבָל וְאֶת-אֲבִימָאֵל, וְאֶת-שְׁבָא.	28 and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba; 28. Obált, Abimáélt és Sébát.
כט וְאֶת-אוֹפִר וְאֶת-חֲוִילָה, וְאֶת-יוֹבָב; כָּל-אֵלֶּה, בְּנֵי יָקְטָן.	29 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan. 29. Ofirt, Havilát és Jóbábot. Ezek mind a Joktán fiai.
ל וַיְהִי מוֹשָׁבָם, מִמֵּשָׁא, בֹּאֲכָה סְפָרָה, הַר הַקֶּדֶם.	30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest toward Sephar, unto the mountain of the east. 30. És vala ezeknek lakása, Mésától fogva Séfárba menve a napkeleti hegyekig.
לא אֵלֶּה בְנֵי-שֵׁם, לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לִלְשֹׁנֹתָם, בְּאַרְצֹתָם, לְגוֹיֵהֶם.	31 These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations. 31. Ezek a Sém fiai családjok, nyelvök, földjök és nemzetségök szerint.
לב אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת בְּנֵי-נֹחַ לְתוֹלְדֹתָם, בְּגוֹיֵהֶם; וּמֵאֵלֶּה נִפְרְדוּ הַגּוֹיִם, בָּאָרֶץ--אַחַר הַמַּבּוּל. {פ}	32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations; and of these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood. {P} 32. Ezek a Noé fiainak családjai az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő népeik között, és ezektől szaporodának el a népek a földön, az özönvíz után.
