11. Fejezet
א וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, עוֹד נֶגַע אֶחָד אָבִיא עַל-פַּרְעֹה וְעַל-מִצְרַיִם--אַחֲרֵי-כֵן, יְשַׁלַּח אֶתְכֶם מִזֶּה: כְּשַׁלְּחוֹ--כָּלָה, גָּרֵשׁ יְגָרֵשׁ אֶתְכֶם מִזֶּה. 1 And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Yet one plague more will I bring upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence; when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.
1 Az Úr pedig monda Mózesnek: Még egy csapást hozok a Faraóra és Égyiptomra; azután elbocsát titeket innen; a mikor mindenestől elbocsát, űzve hajt el titeket innen.
ב דַּבֶּר-נָא, בְּאָזְנֵי הָעָם; וְיִשְׁאֲלוּ אִישׁ מֵאֵת רֵעֵהוּ, וְאִשָּׁה מֵאֵת רְעוּתָהּ, כְּלֵי-כֶסֶף, וּכְלֵי זָהָב. 2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let them ask every man of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.'
2 Szólj azért a népnek füle hallatára, hogy kérjenek a férfi az ő férfitársától, az asszony pedig az ő asszonytársától ezüst edényeket és arany edényeket.
ג וַיִּתֵּן יְהוָה אֶת-חֵן הָעָם, בְּעֵינֵי מִצְרָיִם; גַּם הָאִישׁ מֹשֶׁה, גָּדוֹל מְאֹד בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם, בְּעֵינֵי עַבְדֵי-פַרְעֹה, וּבְעֵינֵי הָעָם. {ס} 3 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people. {S}
3 Az Úr pedig kedvessé tevé a népet az Égyiptombeliek előtt. A férfiú Mózes is igen nagy vala Égyiptom földén a Faraó szolgái előtt és a nép előtt.
ד וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה, כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה: כַּחֲצֹת הַלַּיְלָה, אֲנִי יוֹצֵא בְּתוֹךְ מִצְרָיִם. 4 And Moses said: 'Thus saith the LORD: About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt;
4 És monda Mózes: Ezt mondja az Úr: Éjfél körűl kimegyek Égyiptomba.
ה וּמֵת כָּל-בְּכוֹר, בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם--מִבְּכוֹר פַּרְעֹה הַיֹּשֵׁב עַל-כִּסְאוֹ, עַד בְּכוֹר הַשִּׁפְחָה אֲשֶׁר אַחַר הָרֵחָיִם; וְכֹל, בְּכוֹר בְּהֵמָה. 5 and all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the first-born of the maid-servant that is behind the mill; and all the first-born of cattle.
5 És meghal Égyiptom földén minden elsőszülött, a Faraónak elsőszülöttétől fogva, a ki az ő királyi székében űl, a szolgálónak első szülöttéig, a ki malmot hajt; a baromnak is minden első fajzása.
ו וְהָיְתָה צְעָקָה גְדֹלָה, בְּכָל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם, אֲשֶׁר כָּמֹהוּ לֹא נִהְיָתָה, וְכָמֹהוּ לֹא תֹסִף. 6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there hath been none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
6 És nagy jajgatás lesz egész Égyiptom földén, a melyhez hasonló nem volt és hasonló nem lesz többé.
ז וּלְכֹל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, לֹא יֶחֱרַץ-כֶּלֶב לְשֹׁנוֹ, לְמֵאִישׁ, וְעַד-בְּהֵמָה--לְמַעַן, תֵּדְעוּן, אֲשֶׁר יַפְלֶה יְהוָה, בֵּין מִצְרַיִם וּבֵין יִשְׂרָאֵל. 7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog whet his tongue, against man or beast; that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
7 De Izráel fiai közűl az eb sem ölti ki nyelvét senkire, az embertől kezdve a baromig; hogy megtudjátok, hogy különbséget tett az Úr Égyiptom között és Izráel között.
ח וְיָרְדוּ כָל-עֲבָדֶיךָ אֵלֶּה אֵלַי וְהִשְׁתַּחֲווּ-לִי לֵאמֹר, צֵא אַתָּה וְכָל-הָעָם אֲשֶׁר-בְּרַגְלֶיךָ, וְאַחֲרֵי-כֵן, אֵצֵא; וַיֵּצֵא מֵעִם-פַּרְעֹה, בָּחֳרִי-אָף. {ס} 8 And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down unto me, saying: Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee; and after that I will go out.' And he went out from Pharaoh in hot anger. {S}
8 És mindezek a te szolgáid lejönnek hozzám és leborulnak előttem, mondván: Eredj ki te és mind a nép, a mely téged követ, és csak azután megyek el. És nagy haraggal méne ki a Faraó elől.
ט וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, לֹא-יִשְׁמַע אֲלֵיכֶם פַּרְעֹה--לְמַעַן רְבוֹת מוֹפְתַי, בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם. 9 And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Pharaoh will not hearken unto you; that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.'
9 Az Úr pedig monda Mózesnek: Azért nem hallgat reátok a Faraó, hogy az én csudáim sokasodjanak meg Égyiptom földén.
י וּמֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן, עָשׂוּ אֶת-כָּל-הַמֹּפְתִים הָאֵלֶּה--לִפְנֵי פַרְעֹה; וַיְחַזֵּק יְהוָה אֶת-לֵב פַּרְעֹה, וְלֹא-שִׁלַּח אֶת-בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאַרְצוֹ. {ס} 10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh; and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land. {S}
10 Mózes pedig és Áron mindezeket a csudákat megtevék a Faraó előtt; de az Úr megkeményíté a Faraó szívét. És nem bocsátá el Izráel fiait az ő földéről.
